GradeCam allows you to scan to grade tests and quizzes and to enter all student work into your grade book including papers you have graded and given a score and credit/no credit homework.
Tests
Follow these steps to give a quiz or test using GradeCam:
Step #1--Pass out forms for students to bubble their ID numbers and answer choices. Or, use GradeCam's form generator to print forms with student ID numbers already bubbled.
Step #2--Create an answer key then swipe it under the camera. You can also type in the correct answer choices or pull up a previously-saved answer key.
Step #3--As soon as a you or a student places a completed GradeCam test form under the camera, the computer screen shows the number answered correctly and displays wrong answers in red.
Step #4--One keystroke enters the results into the grade book you use now.
Choose from GradeCam's many statistic and report options for analyzing results, reteaching, and providing students and parents with performance feedback. Graded Papers
Any assignment that has a GradeCam score form on it can be posted to your grade book by swiping instead of typing. This makes entering scores with students present fast and easy and also means there is less chance for error.
As you grade each student's work, bubble in the number of points the student received in the score section of the score form. Once you have completed grading, scores can be entered into your grade book in seconds.
In other words, GradeCam does not grade students' written work and the many other necessary non-objective student assessments. But at least GradeCam keeps you from having to do tedious data entry to enter scores for that student work after you have already spent hours grading it.
Credit/No Credit Assignments
When you choose the credit/no credit option, GradeCam asks you how many points to give students, so there is no need to bubble anything in the score section of the score form. This option is particularly useful for homework assigned as practice. |
