Student Growth Measures
Using GradeCam’s longitudinal reports, student achievements can be documented by recording skill acquisition over time. When teachers’ evaluations are based on how much their students learn throughout the year, student growth measures are a helpful method for identifying how much academic progress students have made between two points in time.
In responsive learning environments, it’s important for teachers to have a host of formative assessment tools in their toolbox. One really useful mechanism for measuring student growth is GradeCam’s longitudinal reporting. This allows teachers to assess student performance by specific criteria, document their progress in those same areas throughout the year, and easily view results through the teacher app.
